I’m feeling nostalgic about spring break this year, because for the first time in many years, we’re not all going on a trip as a family. With our older child in college and the younger in high school, their breaks don’t line up anymore (and this year, our daughter is heading on a trip with friends, a first, and will only be home for two days). Although I know that change is inevitable, it’s hitting me hard that we won’t be setting off on an adventure as a family, and that very likely, our spring break days with the kids are over
